Here we are in Barham, NSW. This is where Pete went to Primary School and Pete's older siblings
(Julie and David) finished school here prior to his Dad being transferred to Kempsey.
We drove into Town to find that the where the Old Police Station and Police House sat is now a club. The house was moved out to the lake to become a managers residence.
We made the fly of the pants decision to pop into the Baraham Lakes Caravan Park. There was no-one here and we had first pick of sights. We were spoilt for choise, and chose to set up our van right
along side the Murray River. What a beauftiful relaxing river to sit by morning, noon and night. The front of our van is facing the river front. We decided it was one of the three best spots in the whole park.
We have a friend, who stopped by not long after we had finished setti
ng up. He was happy to just sit outside our carvan and watch us. The kids are very taken by him and are hoping to get some pictures with him over the next few days. i have told them that if they are respectful of him, then he will probably bring some of his friends with him.
The tootless terror, AKA Mia, lost another tooth. We are hoping t
he tooth Fairy finds her. We have spoken to Aunty Julie and Uncle PK and aksed if they can let the tooth fairy know where we are. I have had to hide the cup that the tooth is in, as knowing us, we will tip the water out and forget there is a tooth there. I better remember where it is before I got to bed.
I am sure there will be more news from Barham, and I don't think 5 nights will be enough to enjoy the serenity of this place. I think this will be a place that we will re-visit when we get the chance.
