Not 'just' a mining town...! Tom Price, WA

Tom Price, a small and lovely town. Welcomed with an informative information center and reasonably okay caravan park. The town consists of Coles, a pharmacy, bakery plus a few other places plus the mines which the town runs off. (Caravan Park in image's below)

Tom Price is mostly known for isn’t unbeatable surroundings. Karijini National is a one of a kind sorta place. Amazing gorges, beautiful water and spectacular trail walks are all very suitable opinions. Also, don’t forget to visit the asbestos ridden town of Wittenoom. It’s literally a ghost town.... We’ve written more about it HERE!

Whilst in town we lucked in to visiting right on time for the ‘Nameless Festival!’ By the way; Tom Price kind of has an unknown theme. A roads, a few attractions and a festival all come by the name ‘Nameless!’

The nameless festival ran over a two day period consisting of kids rides, food trucks, wood chopping, kids entertainment, dog shows and so much more which made for an awesome couple of days out..!

Whilst in town we also tested out our 4wding skills on the seconds highest ‘drivable’ mountain in Western Australia: ‘Mount Nameless.’ We tacked this with our buddies Cruiser & the Castle and treated ourselves to cheese, crackers and a few beverages at the top as we watched the serial sunset. We’d definitely basing yourself in Tom Price while you explore Karijini and the other special places around.
