280km's to see what...? Steep Point, WA

August 1, 2018

Around 140km’s of unsealed and very bumpy driving (each way) we made our way to the most westerly point of Australia commonly known as ‘Steep Point!’

A $12.00 entry fee payable at the ranger station per vehicle if you don’t have a parks pass gets you an amazing, family fun day out... With some amazing beaches, cliffs and marine life there was not a chance to blink!!

With an abundance of whales migrating offshore we watched on as they planned and dived around. Although hard to capture a picture we loved imbedding these perfect memories into our brains...

With many campgrounds on offer right on the beautiful beaches we still decided to day trip because of the hassle with tents and our caravan just wouldn’t of made it down this 4WD only track.

A bit sandy and VERY, VERY bumpy at times we followed all advice sign posted warning you to air down to 20 PSI and switching to UHF channel 12 for ease of communication through these tight ‘tacks!’

We had an EPICLY amazing day out and would definitely recommend you heading out this way!!
